Have you ever found an awesome Banting Diet Plan online without quantities or preparation videos? Frustrating isn't it?! We took it upon ourselves to make the most AMAZING Banting meal plan for you to get started on the diet. Before we start please go over these IMPORTANT points.

Banting Diet Side Effects

When starting the Banting Diet there is a high chance you will experience the "Low Carb Flue" during the first few days. DO NOT be scared off the diet, this is normal. As soon as this "flue" passes the diet becomes a lot easier.

"Low Carb Flue" Symptoms are as follows:

  • Headaches
  • Feeling of nausea
  • Heavy carbohydrate cravings

Drinking on The Banting Diet Plan

  • Drink as much water as you want however stay away from any fruit juices or sugary drinks
  • You may drink tea and coffee. We advise you to use full fat cream instead of milk.
  • Try to stay away from alcohol if possible. If you do decide to have a drink rather drink red wine or clean spirits WITHOUT any sugary mixes.

Preparing your 7 Day Banting Diet

We highly advise you go through each meal listed below before starting the diet and make sure you know how to cook it. We have provided YouTube videos for the more exclusive meals. Always buy ingredients a few days before you need them to avoid missing out on meals. Missing out on meals may decrease the effectiveness of the diet.

Some videos may refer to "The Keto Diet", please don't let this alarm you. There are only slight differences between The Keto and the Banting Diet. I made sure foods show cased in these videos are allowed while Banting.

Lets begin. Here is our 7 day Banting meal plan. ENJOY!

7 Day Banting Diet Plan

DAY 01 - Monday

Breakfast

  • 2 Fried Eggs
  • Pork Sausage (make sure its not stuffed with breading)
  • 1 Rasher of bacon

Lunch

  • Banting Burger

  • Sweet Potato fries 1/2 Sweet Potato

Snack

  • Tuna 1 Can

Dinner

  • Pumpkin
  • Spinach
  • Pan Fries or Grilled Fish

DAY 02 - Tuesday

Breakfast

  • Bacon
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 Avocado
  • Banana

Snack

  • No Carb Mozzarella sticks 200g

Lunch

  • Banting Beef Soup

Dinner

  • Creamy Chicken Casserole with Spinach and Bacon

    DAY 03 - Wednesday

    Breakfast

    • Smoothie made with fruit pieces and coconut milk, 1 glass

    Lunch

    • Shrimp Salad drizzled with Olive Oil

    Dinner

    • 300g Steak
    • Pan fried vegetables in olive oil

    Snack

    • 100g Biltong

      DAY 04 - Thursday

      Breakfast

      • Omelette with cheese, tomato and bacon.

      Snack

      • 2 boiled eggs

      Lunch

      • Steak cuts in Greek Salad with olive oil

      Dinner

      • Banting Burger
      • Sweet Potato Fries 1/2 Sweet Potato

        DAY 05 - Friday

        Breakfast

        • Omelette with cheese, tomato and bacon.

        Lunch

        • Chicken breast
        • Mixed Vegetables

        Snack

        • Zucchini oven chips 200g

        Dinner

        • Lamb Potjie or Lamb roast

          DAY 06 - Saturday

          Breakfast

          • Pork Sausage (make sure its not stuffed with breading)
          • 1 Fried Eggs
          • Hash-brown
          • 1 Rasher of bacon

          Snack

          • Sweet potato chips 1/2 Sweet Potato

          Lunch

          • Cold meat pieces in Greek Salad

          Dinner

          • Chicken stir fry cooked in coconut oil

            DAY 07 - Sunday

            Breakfast

            • Fried Tomato
            • Bacon and eggs
            • Fruit pieces

            Snack

            • Cashew Nuts 100g

            Lunch

            •  Mushroom, Avo and Bacon Salad

            Dinner

            • Roast leg of lamb/ roast Chicken
            • Spinach
            • Veggies
